Sharon was once a child who attended Hillbrow Drop-In Centre, and Intombi Shelter, and Kulula Skills Centre. She integrated with normative society, got married, and brought her baby to be baptised in St. Magdalene Church where Sharon was saved and found Peace. | ||
![]() St. Magdalene serves everyone from the street in need. Sundays are outreach days for the girls in the shelter, and they cook and serve meals to other needy persons attending the service. This particular service was the wedding service for Ruan and Anlie. Ruan was the first ever volunteer of The House in 1990 (and in 2003 he still volunteers!) and Anlie volunteered at The House in 1993. Ruan also played the bass guitar in St. Magdalene's services. |
