We exist because of our members and volunteers

According to its constitution The House Group BELONGS TO its members and is MANAGED BY volunteers.

The House has no existence without adequate numbers of members and volunteers.

Our Board of Directors are elected volunteers.

We have volunteers in each program and project and fundraising is primarily done by volunteers. Every committee is volunteer driven. We have volunteers outside of South Africa - in the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, USA, Canada, Sweden, Norway, and Australia.

We need your assistance.

Each volunteer brings her/his unique personality, viewpoints and skills to the organisation -and this is what makes the organisation successful. Belowe are some of the things volunteers can do, but this is by no means a complete list.

Anyone has a skill

Fundraising, organising fundraising events, etc.
Writing (for) newsletters: write articles, poems, stories, and general content. We also need help with editing and publishing.
Writing for the web. We need your stories, hints, program reports, program needs and brag pages to give the public feedback.
